The Name GideonsForce is taken from two sources.
1. The story of Gideon in the Bible. Gideon was called of God to be the tool He chose
to use to defeat the foreign invading armies. You can read the story of Gideon in the

2. The idea of a special forces operation. Our force is a group that wants to live
abandoned to God, doing whatever He calls us to. In the story of Gideon, God chose
to make the odds impossible for Gideon to win the battle. God even chose to make
the actual battle one where Gideon and his men weren't even really involved. God
doesn't need our help, He just wants our obedience.
GideonsForce has been the ministry name of the Bounds Family for over 10 years.
